Driven by curiosity and intuition, Annika learned by experience the profound positive impact movement and somatic release can have on the mind and body. She has deep respect for the human organism’s capacity to heal and grow.

Already decades in on a personal path of healing through meditation, yoga, dance, martial arts, qi gong and forest bathing, in 2015 Annika was run over by a semi truck. The experience left her suffering from panic attacks and other intense symptoms of post-traumatic stress injury in addition to serious bodily injuries. It also awakened old traumas. This spurred her to go even deeper into somatic release techniques and practices to heal her own physical body and nervous system. Thus she developed a deep understanding of our powerful innate healing systems and how to listen to the body’s subtle guidance.

Drawing on both ancient practices and cutting edge science, Annika has developed a unique approach that invites the body’s own processes to rebalance the nervous system at its own pace. The practice, incorporating neurogenic yin yoga, TRE, qi gong and reiki, invites energy to flow through the body up the spine, and allows our own systems to safely release stored patterns and blocks. Annika is dedicated to supporting others on their journey – to become truly at home in this body and the life-changing potential it holds.
